Roswell Crash Debris Guard I Was Ordered To Shoot To Kill By Anthony Bragalia
COPYRIGHT 2013, INTERAMERICA, INC

A team of investigators (of which this author is part) has renewed efforts to find and contact the very last living veterans of the Army Air Force who were at Roswell during the time of a UFO crash that occurred in early July of 1947. Some of these now octogenarian witnesses have opened up publicly for the very first time- and some of what they say can only be described as chilling. If the testimony of one particular Roswell vet holds true, then the Air Force explanation of a Mogul balloon train accounting for a crashed UFO cannot be. This is because the vet maintains that the Provost Marshal of the base had issued to him the most extreme and dreaded of commands: He was ordered to "shoot to kill" anyone who ever tried to enter the hangar in which the crash debris was stored. One would not be commanded to kill over a balloon. Serviceman Calvin Cox has held secret his disturbing Roswell experience for decades. He was ordered to never speak of it. And he never has...until now.

THE ULTIMATE COMMAND

To "shoot to kill" on officer's orders supersedes the normal protocol to apprehend and arrest. It means to instantly end another person's life as judge, jury and executioner.

One such serviceman dutiful enough to do this was PFC Calvin Cox. Cox is pictured in the Roswell Army Air Field Base Yearbook for 1947 and other information indicates that he was attached to the 3rd Photo Lab. Cox was found by me during the course of trying to locate those who were with the Photo Lab at that time. One serviceman who was also affiliated with the Lab, Gene Neiderschmidt, had suggested that I contact a Calvin Cox "who knew some things he might now be open to talking about." Gene explained that Cox had actually guarded the hangar where the debris was taken. Gene added, "and what he tells you is true. He would have done anything if he was ordered to, anything. He was a tough kind of guy."

I reached Calvin Cox by phone very recently. His story was one that he was at first reluctant to tell. But what he did relate was remarkable. Calvin explained that he held Top Secret clearance. When the debris from the Roswell crash was being brought to base, Calvin states the he was commanded to perform very urgent guard duty at Hangar 84. It would be a four hour shift. The Provost Marshal, Major Edwin Easley, instructed Calvin to guard a portion of the inside of the huge hangar. And Calvin did this. But what gives him pause even today are the forceful orders that he was given that extraordinary day:

Major Easley had commanded Calvin in absolute terms to "shoot and kill anyone who tried to enter the hangar that was not authorized to do so."

And Calvin adds that he was then told by the Major that he would not be using his standard-issue weapon for guard duty. Instead, Easley issued Calvin a submachine gun to be used with deadly force should anyone try to cross:

THE ROSWELL DEBRIS GUARD'S OTHER REVELATIONS

"Hangar 84 at Roswell Base Today"

Cox said that there was a guard placed both outside and inside the entrances to the hangar. He was not to go beyond a rope that was placed just a few feet inside the hangar entrance. Despite this, Calvin had the opportunity to view some of the incoming Roswell debris from a distance. He saw some of the crash material sticking out of a 60 foot flatbed, filling perhaps just half of the trailer's capacity. He indicates that it appeared that the crash material may have been metal-like, but that he could tell it was protruding out in beams and appeared shiny and smooth. Some of it may have had a burnished or tarnished coloring. Far back in the poorly lit hangar he could see about 30 feet of strange, structured metal-like material that was similar to what he had seen in the flatbed.

Cox states that at no time during this event did he see anything resembling a balloon or balloon train. He remembers the newspapers later stating that the disc was found out to have been a balloon after all- and personally knowing that was not true but being unable to say anything.

Calvin believes that Intelligence Officer Major Jesse Marcel's late-in-life disclosures about finding material in the desert not from Earth are true. Calvin says that Jesse was "straight forward" and that Jesse was set up as a "fall guy."

After the crash Calvin noticed that there were personnel around the base in great numbers that he knew to have been affiliated with intelligence agencies, including both the FBI and the OSI.

When I asked him what happened to the debris, Cox said that he knew that pilot Captain Oliver "Pappy" Henderson was involved in flying out some of it out to another location. (Many years ago researchers documented that Henderson had confessed to family that he had personally seen the alien bodies and strange debris.)

Calvin today maintains that what he guarded must have been of such importance that it affected national security. And he believes that what crashed was "piloted." When I asked by whom, he replied with a question: "Do you believe in aliens?"

THE MAJOR, HIS ORDERS AND HIS CONFESSION

"Major Edwin Easley, Provost Marsha"l

Major Edwin Easley was the Provost Marshal at Roswell Army Air Field in July of 1947. A Provost Marshal is the head of the Military Police group at a base of military operations. He is the officer in charge of this unit and thus is responsible for military discipline, maintaining order and other police functions. Easley was the one who issued the kill order to Calvin Cox. It is believed that Easley, as Provost Marshal, also secured the crash site.

When Easley was reached in 1991 by researcher Kevin Randle, he was asked if he thought that they were "following the right path" on the true nature of the Roswell crash. Easley asked, "What do you mean?" When it was clarified as referring to "the extraterrestrial path" Easley responded, "Well let me put it to you this way- that's not the wrong path." He would say no more, indicating that he was "sworn to secrecy."

His daughter, Nancy Johnston Easley has stated that her father said to her that he had made a promise to President Truman not to reveal anything. During his last days Easley finally confirmed to his family members (and to his physician Dr. Harold Granik) that there was a 'real crash' that occurred "North of Roswell." When asked what he had seen out there in the desert, Edwin replied:"Creatures."

The Giant Disco Ball In The Sky
Strange lights on dwarf planet Ceres have scientists perplexed

A dwarf planet is shining two bright lights at a NASA spacecraft right now, and our smartest scientists are unsure what they are.

As bizarre as that sentence sounds, that's the situation with Ceres - the largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, officially designated as a dwarf planet (the same category as Pluto).

NASA's Dawn spacecraft is approaching Ceres ahead of a March 6 rendezvous. The picture above was taken February 19, from a distance of just under 29,000 miles, and shows two very shiny areas on the same basin on Ceres' surface.

Previous Dawn images from further away showed a single light on Ceres, which was just as mysterious. Then, to the amazement of every astronomy geek, the one light turned out to be two - reflecting roughly 40% of the light hitting them.

...

So what could the bright spots be, other than alien castaways signaling at us with flashlights?

The most obvious contender is ice, although ice would reflect more than 40% of all light hitting it. The difference may be accounted for by the resolution limit of Dawn's camera at this distance. Scientists have previously detected water vapor coming from the surface of the dwarf planet, making ice - a more likely option.

Scientists have also suggested the bright areas could be patches of salt. On the other hand, the location of the two bright spots so close together may be an indication that they have a geologic origin, such as some sort of volcanic process, possibly even ice volcanoes. So the aliens on Ceres had a snow storm, and put road salt on it?

Crop Circle Theories
SHORT UFO FACT: [Tulli Papyrus, 15th century, from the reign of Thutmose III, translated from hieratic Egyptian, describes "FLAMING CIRCLES" seen in the sky during the New Kingdom era of Egypt. These "CIRCLES" emitted a foul odor, and after they departed, there was a rain of fish and '"volatiles"' (METEORITES?) The scroll was originally the property of Alberto Tulli, who managed the Vatican Museum's Egyptological collection. (INQUIRIES TO THE VATICAN HAVE CAST SOME DOUBTS ON THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE MANUSCRIPT.) The Intermediate periods in Egypt (BETWEEN THE OLD AND MIDDLE, AND MIDDLE AND NEW KINGDOMS) were marked by multiple cataclysms and strange aerial occurences. Indeed, there are many parallels between the strange events and the plagues described in the Biblical Book of Exodus.]

OVINIS

SHORT UFO FACT: [The three most well known stories in the Bible that suggest UFO-like encounters are the stories of the Exodus, Ezekiel, and Enoch. But there are others. Many researchers, such as Morris K. Jessup, have discussed the "PILLAR OF THE LORD" seen leading the Hebrews out of Egypt and pointed out its UFOlike properties. Others have discussed Jacob's heavenly ladder as a possible sighting. Yet others are convinced that the four '"living"' beings who '"moved like wheels"' and '"burned like bronze"' seen by Ezekiel were UFOs. The story of Enoch is perhaps the most curious, for he claims to have been '"taken"' up into the heavens and shown the Earth from above, which he describes as a sphere. His book in the Bible is apocryphal (AND HENCE ITS AUTHENTICITY DISPUTED.) Some people think that the Star of Bethlehem and the cloud which descended upon Jesus on Mount Tabor may have been UFOs as well, and some daring authors declare his parentage may have been extraterrestrial, rather than divine.]

Ufos Hauntings Witches To Believe Or Not To Believe
The other night I interviewed paranormal researcher Mark Nesbitt on my internet radio show, and I was struck by the number of times Mark described phenomena that occur in haunted areas around Gettysburg, PA (his area of expertise), that sounded familiar to me because I had heard of something similar in UFO cases.

His account of an area on the Gettysburg battlefield, known as the Triangular Field, was the most striking to me. He told me that cameras don't work while in that field. They work fine before entering the field, and after leaving it, but not while they're there. This applies to tourists' hand-held digital cameras, to older 35 mm still cameras, and even to TV and movie cameras that have been brought in for interviews.

If you've read many accounts of UFO encounters, you've probably come across mention of a car that suddenly went dead -- not just stalled, but lost all power completely -- while a UFO was in close proximity, only to come to life again after the object moves away. I don't know what causes it, and I'm sure there are many people reading this now who have a good idea of how the electromagnetic fields could be affecting the cars; but it makes me wonder if something similar is going on in these haunting cases.

There's a lot of buzz around right now about the question -- just what are UFOs? What exactly are the beings who are controlling these craft that are flying around, landing, and interacting with people? Jacques Vallee postulated years ago that they are not extraterrestrial, but are actually the same beings that humans in ages past, referred to as demons, angels or fairies.

Humans who interacted with fairies often reported missing time. This is where the famous Rip Van Winkle story came from. Humans who interact with UFOs and their occupants also frequently report missing time, though usually in terms of hours rather than days or even years. (Have the other beings refined their ability to return humans more closely to the time they came from?)

Fairies were said to leave circular marks on the ground, said to be either the physical trace of their dwelling or the marks of their dancing in circles. Later, more scientifically-minded people suggested that the circular marks in the grass were actually physical signs of an infestation of a particular fungus. (Readers of Graham Hancock's work on shamanism and the use of various mushrooms and other plants to achieve contact with the spirit world will prick up their ears at this as well.) UFOs have been known to leave circular physical traces on the ground; sometimes nothing will grow on that spot again. Look into Ted Phillips' research on the Delphos case for more details on this.

Interestingly, the idea of a plot of land where "nothing ever grew again" was often linked with witches. Either the site where a witch died or where she was buried was said to become barren. Anthropologist Margaret Murray linked European witchcraft with the fairy legends in her book, "The God of the Witches." She postulated that witches were humans who interacted with fairies and learned from them, celebrated with them, and formed a living bridge between humans and fairies -- just like the shamans described in Graham Hancock's latest book, Supernatural. Many modern pagans also study and use shamanistic techniques to contact the spirit world and receive divine guidance.

The interesting thing to me is that many people won't make this connection, because a lot of UFO researchers won't look at paranormal phenomena, and vice versa. This is very unfortunate, because it seems to me that some valuable information is being ignored, and that it will only delay our understanding these phenomena.

I used to work in a cancer treatment center, where a lot of experimental trials were being conducted. I saw some of the paperwork that had to be completed -- complete patient histories, and I mean COMPLETE. Nothing could be left out, no matter how small a detail, because we just didn't know what would have an effect on the patient's condition or on their treatment. Every available detail of their daily life had to be captured and recorded, so that later, other people could go over all the reports and look for patterns. This is how we should be conducting UFO and paranormal research.

At this stage, we can't afford to be excluding anything. It all has to be collected and recorded by the field investigators, and then others need to look over all of the reports and watch for anything that crops up repeatedly. Fortunately, there are several people doing just this kind of work these days, but there are still many who refuse to accept the validity of more than a very narrow line of research. This, to my mind, is like researching the causes of cancer by looking only at what a patient eats, and excluding questions about leisure activities (such as smoking) or work conditions (such as exposure to asbestos.) Sure, you'll come up with a few answers, but you'll miss so many more.

Of course, it has to be repeated that we can't accept everything we hear as truth without checking into it. What I'm saying is that we need to be willing to look at more of the information that's being reported, to investigate it as we would any other piece of evidence, and to prove or disprove it rather than just dismissing it because it sounds too unbelieveable. Let's face it, folks, everything in this field sounds unbelievable at first. One's ability to consider and examine the facts is a reflection of one's own level of awareness of the depth of mysteries in this world. The more outrageous things you see existing in the world, the more you realize the unbelievable could just be true. And you realize just how little we humans really know about the world around us.

And that's where the fun is. That's when you see the world as a fascinating, mystical, incredible place and you marvel at being a part of it. You want to understand your place in it, and to start meeting the other denizens of this universe, this dimension, and others. I saw a comment on another blog that put it incredibly well -- "...open-minded questioning is about imagination and possibility...the UFO is an invitation to expand our consciousness." I would add that psychic and paranormal phenomena also offer us such invitations.

I accept.

An Evaluation Of Gilles Fernandez Airship Solution
COPYRIGHT 2013, INTERAMERICA, INC.

Gilles presents an acceptable, to skeptics, scenario for the 1890's Airship wave(s) that we and Jose Caravaca have dealt with rather extensively in the past.

But looking at his and his team's presentation, we note that the opening salvo is couched in psychological terminology, leading us (and others) to believe that the explanation for the Airship sightings noted would be explained by psychology perhaps.

But Gilles et al. dispense with their premise and end up citing Venus as the cause of the California sightings, abetted by California newspapers and illustrations therein, with the only psychological element being a kind of watered down use of Freud's projection theory.

(I assume that the insert of the psychological terms, at the outset of Gilles' presentation, was a kind of faux imprimatur to give credence to what follows. Gilles, after all, is said to be a cognitive psychologist of some note in France.)

While links to material supporting the Venus hypothesis with which Gilles wishes to explain the California airship wave and those that followed are provided, they are a solipsistic farrago.

Venus, as an explanation for flying saucer and UFO sightings, and now the Airships seen in the 1890s decade, doesn't register as a methodological explanation for me and others who know from citations in THE NEW LAROUSSE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MYTHOLOGY [Hamlyn, London, 1959, Pages 57, 58, 63, 76, 144, 311, 313, 323, 324, 431, 438, 442] and MYTHOLOGY: AN ILLUSTRATED ENCYCLOPEDIA, edited by Richard Cavendish [Rizzoli/Orbis, London, 1980, Pages 245, 248, 250, 251, 253] that Venus was perpetually seen as a planet or star by ancients and never once observed as a vehicle flying overhead and containing Gods or divinities despite, perhaps, the insinuations of the Ancient Astronaut theorists.

That Gilles and his cohorts, steeped in psychological maladies, present Venus as the observed Airships, exacerbated by newspaper accounts, which may have been bogus is interesting.

That would mean the observers were hallucinating or misperceiving in ways that could be etiologically explained, if one applied psychological methodologies to their observations. Gilles didn't do that and couldn't do that; unfortunately, no one has access to such observers (long dead), and one can't get into the mind of the newspaper reporters and editors (also long dead) who provided the stories (which many think were creations to accrue readers and newspaper sales).

Let me provide this experience:

When I lived in Florida in 1970-71, there was an old man, in his 90s, an artist, Fred Hoertz in an apartment below mine, who claimed he saw an airship when he was a child. While his wife said it was difficult for him to recall details of his sighting, in the 1890s, he did note that it seemed to him to be a flying mechanical device. This was a man with keen vision and painterly acumen. Did he think what he saw was the planet Venus? No. And I certainly didn't entertain any such idea, foreign to me even then, because this was an intelligent man who provided a brief statement of what he saw and thought it was.

If someone mistakes Venus for a UFO or the Airships that Gilles et al. proffer as an explanation for the 1890s Airship wave, that person should be noted for an hallucinatory episode, and studied from that perspective.

But too many persons saw the Airships under discussion, and Lucius Farish and Jerry Clark have provided exemplary reportage of those episodes, and we have, online here (which you can find via Google), a journalistic account of the sightings in a Midwestern magazine.

Nowhere does anyone presume to offer Venus as the cause of the sightings enumerated. The idea is silly on the face of it. And I'm surprised that Gilles and his cohorts have the temerity to present such an idiotic idea here or anywhere else.

Cseti And How To Psychically Contact Aliens
Apparently, for only 995 (not including airfare) anyone can sign up for this year's CSETI summer camp to learn how to contact aliens via telepathy. In addition, Steven Greer will relate his own experiences with "vectoring" UFOs to respond to his mental commands, and he will offer training in getting in tune with the universe.

Tell you what. For a quarter of that, I can put you up in a guest room and teach you UFO investigation and research techniques, and drive out for a day trip and horseback adventure to visit the Michalak UFO site in Whiteshell Provincial Park. That could even include doing a Morgan Spurlock and eating at McDonalds for the week, if you wanted. If you REALLY wanted, you could try using your psychic powers to keep bears away while you visited the site.

Or better yet, save your money. UFO investigation and research could be officially dead, if the CSETI camp gets sold out, as it probably will.

Exploring The Paranormal
Paranormal subjects cover a huge range on interests from folklore to ghosts, ESP to UFOs and more. So, where does one begin to decide just what to explore in the field of paranormal? Some basic background will help you.

If you are of an indigenous people, Celtic or Nordic, and an adventurer at heart, you might be more attracted than others to local folklore and creatures from skinwalkers to Thunderbirds, trolls to elves. Going back to the origins of your nationality can be one of the most passionate avenues of research you will have. If you watch "Destination Truth" on Syfy channel, you have likely run into lots of these legends. They have searched for dinosaurs in Africa, little hairy wild men in South America, elves in Iceland and Leprechauns in Ireland. This is likely the show for you to check out and get inspired by some of these mythical and mystical creatures. The show "Monsterquest" was an exceptionally good show that chased after legendary cryptids, as well. For writers on these cryptid subjects, consider Loren Coleman's books and Nick Redfern. In fact, Loren writes for Cryptomundo site and Nick has his own blog.

If you have always had a love of astronomy, astrology, Star Trek, Star Wars, searching the night sky and contemplating the universe, you might consider the study of UFOs and also the realm of physics. These are the huge questions of the universe. Those who love philosophy are likely to be attracted to this. I'd suggest two shows to get you started, "UFO Hunters" and "Through the Wormhole." You might read some Whitley Strieber or Stanton Friedman books.

If you have a lot of history, beautiful historic sites, and have a romantic streak, as well as love horror movies, ghosts might be your passion. I would suggest you try "Ghost Hunters" show that does a fair representation of what ghost hunting is like, as well as the show "A Haunting" which retells real life ghost stories. You might want to read books by David Rountree or my own book, "Was That a Ghost?"

Nasa Web Richard Branson Almost Quit On Virgin Galactic
Richard Branson has admitted that the fatal Virgin Galactic crash forced him to re-evaluate whether he should continue with his dream of civilian space travel. In a New Year's Day blog posting, the Virgin Galactic founder revealed how he was riddled with doubts about the multi-million-pound venture as he flew to California hours after the crash. He reveald that the Oct. 31 crash, which killed one test pilot and injured the other pilot, affected him deeply. "As I travelled from my home to Mojave that Friday evening, I found myself questioning seriously for the first time, whether in fact it was right to be backing the development of something that could result in such tragic circumstances," he wrote. "In short - was Virgin Galactic and everything it has stood for and dreamt of achieving, really worth it?"

Co-pilot Michael Alsbury was killed in the accident and pilot Peter Siebold was seriously injured but managed to escape after activating his parachute system.

Meanwhile, the National Transportation Safety Board is continuing its investigation of the incident, which marks the first in-flight fatality suffered by a commercial spaceflight effort.

The NTSB said an onboard video showed that co-pilot Michael Alsbury, who died in the crash, prematurely pulled a lever that unlocked SpaceShipTwo's wing-feathering brake system. That action was taken seconds after the plane lit up its rocket motor, and just moments before the catastrophic breakup.

Branson and the rest of the team are pressing on with the Virgin Galactic venture, which has signed up about 700 customers to take suborbital space trips at a cost of as much as 250,000 a seat. A second SpaceShipTwo plane is under construction, and work is proceeding as well on Virgin Galactic's LauncherOne system for sending small satellites into orbit.

Virgin Galactic's pilots took WhiteKnightTwo, the wide-winged airplane that's designed to carry SpaceShipTwo up for launch, out for a practice flight "just before people started trickling out to spend time with their families for the holidays," Will Pomerantz, the company's vice president for special projects, told NBC News.

In his New Year's retrospective, Branson gave a nod to Alsbury and Siebold as well as to Virgin Galactic's customers.

"When this story is told in years to come, I believe alongside the bravery of Mike and the incredible tale of Pete's survival will stand the story of the commitment, loyalty and passion of the world's first private astronauts," Branson wrote. "And so Virgin Galactic goes on, with an unwavering commitment to safety and a renewed sense of purpose."

There were 5 of us sitting outside around 10:10 I looked over and up everyone else as well. We got up from the table and walked to the next lawn so we didn't miss anything. It lasted 2-3min tops. It's really hard to exp. them it looked like it could of been red/orange/yellowish orbs I know what those Chinese lanterns look like and this was no Chinese lantern. It started off in a pattern and then in a line up and down, top, middle, bottom. The size of it from where we were standing looked like a golf ball in a half. We lost sight of them going up to far they were just gone

Ufo Sighting In Washington Washington On September 1St 2004 Two Parallel Lights Moving Fast Just Above Ocean Surface
UFO SIGHTING IN WASHINGTON, WASHINGTON ON SEPTEMBER 1ST 2004 - TWO PARALLEL LIGHTS MOVING FAST JUST ABOVE OCEAN SURFACE

I was sitting in my car parked on a small car ferry crossing from mainland (Strawberry Point) across Hale Passage toward Lummi Island, Washington. The night sky was crystal clear, and I was marveling both at how incredibly calm and glassy the Sound was and that I could even see the stars reflections in the water. I'd never seen the water so calm there, especially to be able to see the stars reflecting in it, so i got out of my car and stood at the railing as the ferry slowly left Strawberry Point and chugged toward the island's landing dock (I'd guess it only goes 10mph or so). About one minute out, I saw what I assumed were two lights on a car (one white the other red) across the water rounding a bend on Haxton Way, the road that curves along the southern tip of the Lummi Indian Reservation (across Hale Passage from Lummi Island) approximately 3/4 mile from the ferry. I guessed I was seeing one headlight and one red running light on a car, close together, but they weren't following that curve in the road I was very familiar with. And because I could see those lights' star-like long reflections in the calm waters, I continued tracking them awhile. But when the lights moved beyond the end of that small peninsula, and carried on out into the strait between the mainland and small island just off it across Portage Bay--can't recall name of that island, its the Lummi tribe's sacred island off limits to non-tribe members--I knew they weren't from a car of course. As the ferry got about halfway out on the 6 minute crossing, I began to assume I was seeing the running lights on a Lummi fishing vessel. But even over the sound of the ferry's engine I normally would be able to hear a fishing boat's engine from that distance, approx. 3-500 feet by now. The two lights, a white one with a red one right next to it, continued on--perhaps just a few feet over the water--and so, still unsure of I exactly what I was tracking, I waited for this "boat" to cut across the many long, narrow reflections of house lights on the reservation's shoreline shining across the absolutely flat, still Sound water. I was waiting for those reflections to be interrupted and stirred about, which a boat's wake would do. But when these two lights--which appeared now to be moving faster than any fishing boat could, and I thought I might be seeing some fast harbor patrol boat or such speeding out toward open waters--crossed paths with those house light refections and DID NOT alter them in any way, the hair on my neck stood up. It was impossible. At this moment a man waiting in the car behind mine jumped out to the railing, he was seeing the same thing I was, and we exchanged silent shrugs, hands up in air etc as if to say 'what was that?' I then next saw the red and white lights pair moving so fast, just over the water and curving northwest beyond Strawberry Point and out toward sea and out of sight past the northern tip of Lummi Island, that I let out a loud gasp and 'what the f--k' exclamation. I expected the other guy to reply, but he just shook his head and quickly got back in his car without saying a word. Having seen another unexplained light phenomena on Lummi Island the year prior (I just posted that sighting to MUFON earlier)--and having zero explanation for ANY boat cutting across those house lights reflections without a single ripple in said reflections, its completely impossible--I was absolutely sure I'd just seen a UFO. When the ferry reached the Lummi Island dock, I asked a ferry worker directing traffic off the boat if he'd seen those lights. At first he just gave me a weird look, but then he said 'Lots of odd things happen over here' as he waved me to drive on up the landing's ramp. I was of course stunned by all this, driving my car up the road and pulling off at the first pullout I could find with a clear view of Hale Passage to look for more lights, etc. I must've sat there looking for an hour, trying to digest what had just happened. Will never forget it. It was 9 years ago--I just heard about MUFON on the radio so just now reporting--but, especially writing about it now, it feels all the more vivid in my mind. Thanks for running a place like MUFON...

Lake Of The Ozarks Case
In December of 1987 many UFOs were seen streaking across ten states. In Missouri at Lake of the Ozarks, a man was outside his home - 20 feet away from a picture window where nine witnesses were available. He looked toward the west while he was smoking a cigarette and observed three green luminous objects coming towards him. As they came closer he saw that they were solid objects within a cloud-like surrounding halo of green. He said he would compare them to the size of a 747 without a tail fin.

As he observed he tried to yell to the people in the house. He could not scream, nor could he move. He was completely paralyzed. Hovering above him in stair step fashion the three craft each took turns on the bottom stair to get a better look at him. All along the front of the object were windows. In the windows aliens were "pointing a finger at him and nodding their heads like they were discussing him." The intense white light coming from within the craft was so bright he could not make out the details of the aliens. He could see the outline of their heads and saw an impression of their eyes. Talking with the witness on the phone he explained that communication was established between the aliens and himself at that moment. One thing they asked him was what he ate. Then when he mentally asked them the same question they said they got their nourishment from light and that was why it was so light inside the craft. Other things were discussed but he did not reveal what they were.

As soon as the craft moved away he was let loose from the paralyzing grip that held him. At that moment he screamed for the people in the house to come outside and see. They all observed the craft moving away.

The witness and his brother jumped in their pickup and raced to a vantage point where they could see if the craft came back. Another pickup pulled up. The elderly couple in it said, "You must have seen what we did!" He said he had. They told him they had two cameras in the front seat which they grabbed immediately. The only trouble was they could not remove the lens caps to take a picture! At least they corroborated what he had seen.

This case was given to MUFON to follow up on. The last time I spoke to the witness no one had ever come to talk with him.

For the week following the sighting he was in a state of confusion. He really needed someone to help him but there was no one.

Reactions To Hawking Statements
It is logical that there would be reactions to the statements given by the scientist Stephen Hawking about aliens.

But of course, we are talking about reasonable reactions, those that come from scientists, not from the fanatic fringe.

And we've found some of those reactions in an article written in The Christian Science Monitor, by Tom A. Peter, Correspondent, on April 26, 2010.

Here some excerpts of the text:

When Stephen Hawking, one of the world's leading astrophysicists, worries that alien "nomads" could potentially arrive at Earth "looking to conquer and colonize," should humanity worry?

Is Mr. Hawking wrong to speculate about whether extraterrestrial life might pose a threat?

"Well, at this point," says Fabio Favata of the European Space Agency, "such musings are probably premature. There's no data either way."

"Many, many scientists are of the opinion that life is very likely to be common, but, quite frankly, until you discover it, it's as much a philosophical statement as anything else. As a scientist you base your views on actual measurements," says Mr. Favata, head of the ESA's science planning and community coordination office. "Whether there are other life forms or not, I would say, is one of the oldest questions that mankind has asked itself."

"Before worrying about communicating with extraterrestrials, I think most scientists are first of all trying to establish whether there is any form of extraterrestrial life and that is likely to take, still a certain number of years before one can make any definite statement, and I'm talking here whether there is anything in terms of primitive life let alone intelligent life," says Favata.

"Ignoring the possibility [alien life] and hiding your head in the sand, waiting for them to find us certainly isn't a scientifically intelligent way to proceed or a good cultural way to anticipate something like that either," says Mary Voytek, senior scientist for astrobiology at NASA. "Our approach to it has been to be prepared. We're not going to get caught, say like the native Americans when Columbus came to their shores. We've been actively listening and hopefully we get some information before any eventual encounter ever happens."

Martha Haynes, an astronomer at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, says:

"We are in a position to learn a lot more about what else might be out there in the cosmos and in particular we're on the verge of finding... planets which support the kinds of conditions which might allow life as we know it to exist,"

"Aliens that we contact are likely to be far in advance of us, and may well have the capability to find out a great deal about us even if we don't talk formally with them, so I think talking would be OK. Moreover, it could be very interesting," David E. Pritchard, a professor of physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, writes in an e-mail to the Monitor.

NASA's GRAIL mission started its lunar probe late in 2011 to uncover some of the mysteries buried beneath the surface of the Moon -even, perhaps, a long-lost companion. According to recent scientific speculation, the Earth once had two moons gracing our night skies. "It's an intriguing idea," said David Smith, GRAIL's deputy principal investigator at MIT this past April. "And it would be a way to explain one of the great perplexities of the Earth-Moon system - the Moon's strangely asymmetrical nature. Its near and far sides are substantially different." The Moon's near side, facing us, is dominated by vast smooth 'seas' of ancient hardened lava. In contrast, the far side is marked by mountainous highlands. Researchers have long struggled to account for the differences, and the "two moon" theory introduced by Martin Jutzi and Erik Asphaug of the University of California at Santa Cruz is the latest attempt. Scientists agree that when a Mars-sized object crashed into our planet about 4 billion years ago, the resulting debris cloud coalesced to form the Moon. Jutzi and Asphaug posit that the debris cloud actually formed two moons. A second, smaller chunk of debris landed in just the right orbit to lead or follow the bigger Moon around Earth. "Normally, such moons accrete into a single body shortly after formation," explains Smith. "But the new theory proposes that the second moon ended up at one of the Lagrange points in the Earth-Moon system." Lagrange points are a bit like gravitational fly traps. They can hold an object for a long time-but not necessarily forever. The second moon eventually worked its way out and collided with its bigger sister. The collision occurred at such a low velocity that the impact did not form a crater. Instead, the smaller moon 'went splat,' forming the contemporary far side highlands. In short, the lunar highlands are the lost moon's remains. Flying in formation around the Moon, NASA's twin GRAIL spacecraft makes precise measurements of the lunar gravitational field. "By probing the Moon's gravity field, GRAIL 'sees' inside the Moon, illuminating the differences between the near and far sides." GRAIL's twin spacecraft around the Moon for several months while a microwave ranging system precisely measures the distance between the two spacecraft. By watching that distance expand and contract as the pair fly over the lunar surface, researchers map the Moon's underlying gravity field. These measurements tell us a lot about the distribution of material inside the Moon, and give us pretty definitive information about the differences in the two sides of the Moon's crust and mantle. If the density of crustal material on the lunar far side differs from that on the near side in a particular way, the finding will lend support to the 'two moon' theory." But this information is just one "piece of the jigsaw puzzle." To prove a sister moon ever existed, other pieces are needed. NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has already provided key information on the Moon's surface topography. Scientists can also refer to lunar surface chemistry data and look at old seismic information from Apollo for clues. But what's really needed, said Smith, is a sample return mission to the far side to determine the ages of rocks there. "The smaller moon, if there was one, was about 1/3 the size of our current Moon. So upon collision it would have cooled down faster, and the rocks on the far side, where its remains are thought to have spread, would be older than the ones on the near side." Alabama Witness Says Ufo Lights Appeared In Triangle Shape
An Alabama witness at Pell City reported watching a hovering object with four lights that appeared to be a triangle shape, according to testimony in Case 63597 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was eastbound along I-20 between Birmingham and Atlanta when the object was first seen about 10:56 p.m. on January 25, 2015.

"I saw a triangular-shaped object with four lights off to my left." the witness stated. "I continued driving about 65 or 70 mph while I observed the craft. It seemed to be hovering or moving so slowly that I couldn't tell."

The object first caught the witnesses' attention when it projected a light like a searchlight.

"It was foggy, so the searchlight really stood out. At first I thought it was a helicopter shining a searchlight, but the triangular shape of the lights didn't seem to be a helicopter. The searchlight turned off about 10 seconds after I noticed it."

The object's lighting seemed to suggest that it was triangle-shaped. Pictured: I-20 near Pell City, AL. (Credit: Google)

As the witness approached the object, he was unable to make out the shape of the craft.

"It definitely resembled a triangle instead of a helicopter, like I initially thought it was. The lights were white at first, and faded to red, then to a light green, then back to white. All of the lights changed color at once, and they did not blink."

The object seemed to be hovering as the witness moved away from it.

"It seemed to hover in place for around a minute before I passed it and it was out of sight. I passed exit 156 on I-20 East a minute or two after I saw the object."

Pell City is a city in St. Clair County, Alabama, population 9,565.

Alabama is currently a UFO Alert Level 5 - with 1.23 sightings per million population based on MUFON January 2015 statistics. Alabama received a total of six UFO reports in January.

Pell City, AL, is about 34 miles directly east of Birmingham. (Credit: Google)

The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels - 1 through 5 - where states with 4.01 or higher reports per million residents are rated an Alert 1; 3.01 - 4.0 reports are an Alert 2; 2.51 - 3.0 are an Alert 3; 2.01 - 2.5 are an Alert 4; and those states with 2.0 or lower are rated an Alert 5.

Please remember that most UFO sighting can be explained as something natural or man-made. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.

Paranormal Flying Saucer Bureau Reports Sightings In The Skies
AS Manager and greater satellites are sent in the field of orbit from Found, sightings of Unidentified In the air Bits and pieces are the same on the up, having risen from 97 in 2006 to 135 in 2007.

Denis Plunkett, of Winterbourne, runs the British In the air Saucer Organization and says that this measurements may integrate up fitting a piece of the UFOs in the skies abovementioned us, behind you initiative in the field of consideration live in sightings that are sincerely not reported and live in that are held in reserve secret by the Ministry of Defence.

"Current was an incident in Thornbury moral someplace a man saw a UFO being pursued by a fighter jet - whereas the MoD would of course naysay this.

"The object was very low to the ground and just about silent. The jet, of course, was not!"

The sighting in Thornbury was unremarkable of multitude of live in reported to be seen in the sky in 2007; casual tricks, obstruct craft, methodically disc- or triangular-shaped, and unremittingly very low to the ground.

"You step contemporary are hotspots of sightings around the shape, and our area is one of them. This may be to the same degree we develop an in a relaxed manner express North/South, East/West cross in the form of the motorway development, as well as the airfield and a railway coordinate."

Current is, of course, methodically a form sagacious explanation to multitude of the sightings and Winterbourne is in the flight path of the multitude remarkable craft that stem in to land at FIlton. But Mr Plunkett insists that contemporary is no way that a flying saucer could be muddled among, for outline, a hot air expand.

"These special effects are massive," he says, "And usually very ambiguous. I visualize that they are originator sent for examination and monitoring purposes.

"Of course it all began after the war, and originator after the nuclear grenades were set off in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It has been said that these two explosions could develop been witnessed from Mars, so is it any destiny that the sightings of UFOs began immediately afterwards?"

The British In the air Saucer Organization was initiated in the autumn of 1952 by Denis Plunkett's late blood relation, Edgar Lawrence Plunkett, and was an off swell of the international organisation based in Connecticut USA and run by Albert K. Fling.

At that time contemporary were 1,500 members global, but the British gulf was consumed in limbo after three men in black coats' went to stop Mr Fling and the American HQ was disbanded.

Denis took over the organisation in 1993 and has a hardcore of correspondents who subdued not take no for an answer contact and refer in reports, whereas this measurements is at a snail's pace cumulative.

"I develop a few photographs which agreeably show accurate activity in the sky, such as the ones I develop which were industrious by a lure at Tortworth Appointment in 1993.

"He was steal photographs and didn't grasp that these objects had appeared until he had the film qualified. There's slightly agreeably whatever thing contemporary."

Steven Cotton, state upper of the Four Pillars catch at Tortworth Appointment, said: "We haven't seen any unidentified objects. We develop the occasional helicopter flying in among corporation, but that's all.

"Current was, hitherto, a aquatic instruction centre into in the 1940s and 50s, so perhaps contemporary could be whatever thing read between the lines in the field of that."

Ufo Sighting In London Ontario On September 3Rd 2013 Mysterious Light In Sw Sky Travelling From Right To Left
UFO SIGHTING IN LONDON, ONTARIO ON SEPTEMBER 3RD 2013 - MYSTERIOUS LIGHT IN SW SKY TRAVELLING FROM RIGHT TO LEFT

While we were walking west in South London, my husband stood behind me and put his hands on my shoulders. I thought he was trying to stop me from running into a skunk which have been plentiful in the city this summer. Instead he pointed to the S/W area of the sky about 25 degrees or so up from the horizon. There was an unusual light in the sky. My husband said it caught his attention because it was so bright and the colour was such a bright shade of red- both characteristics together seemed strange to him. It was moving horizontally from right to left, SW to W, across the southern sky. At first I thought it was a jet plane with its red landing lights flickering as they sometimes do. But the light was flickering And pulsating not just flickering/blinking. The light seemed to be under intelligent control. It was a very controlled movement, not like one that was natural, i.e. movement due to wind. It seemed to be moving at the same rate of speed as a jet plane at some distance. Have no idea how big the light source was or how fast it was going. The light changed colour from Red to Orange. I don't think plane lights change colour. It also faded in intensity plus it was flickering and pulsating. Then the light brightened up again and then changed colour, again, this time to Bright Blood Red. Then the light changed colour from Bright Blood Red to Bright Purple or Violet. At that point, I said no, that's not right. Planes are never a bright, Reddish-Purple-Violet, flickering, pulsating light... Then the light changed colour again back to Orange Red and was flickering in and out of view. Then it did a slow U turn to travel back in the same direction it had come. At this point we lost sight of it as it went behind some trees. In all the sighting lasted only about 30 to 40 seconds. I don't know what to think. It didn't look like a plane. I've really only seen flares on video. I don't know if flares can travel across the sky and change direction. Unfortunately we did not have our cell phone with us but I don't know what would have been captured on camera even if we'd tried. We were too busy watching this light intently as it kept changing colours and the length of the duration of the sighting was pretty short. I don't know what to think. Strangest thing I think I've ever witnessed as an mysterious light in the sky.

Over St Catherines Ontario A Trio Of Orange Pulsing Lights Flares
Posted: February 15, 2008

Date: October 10, 2007 Time: 3:30 - 5:20 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Over St. Catherine's. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: N/A.

Full Description of event/sighting: I got up with the dog and went out on the balcony. I am looking at the sky because you can actually see some stars. I begin to look towards the area of St. Catherines and I see a bright orange light in the sky. At first I figure it is a plane that is coming towards Toronto. I look at it more and realize it is very low to be coming to Toronto at 3:30 in the morning. Where it was positioned there are two buildings that are very close to it. I grab the binoculars which are right next to me. I peer through them to notice the object is pulsing, but it is too far to make anything out. Then above it and to the left a bit a second light appears. I gasped and thought to myself 'am I seeing what I think I am' then suddenly a third one appears below the other two. There are now a trio of orange pulsing lights in the distance. The second light shut off, but you could see the shadow of the object move away. It moved up and to the right. I almost dropped the binoculars.

I pulled them back up to see the light go away on the last one to light up flicker off. Reminder there are buildings in my sights still and I can see that the lights are not moving at all. The first object is still lit up but it finally moves slightly to the left (east) and shuts off its lights. I can see a shadow of it as I follow it moving back to the west. It turned its lights back on again (I was following it exactly) It shut its lights off again and lifted up into the dark. 10 seconds later I see a plane fly through the area.

I finally grabbed my camera and got the best footage I could.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

The Clapham Wood Mystery
The Clapham Wood Mystery is the name given related to the strange events happening in Clapham Wood, West Sussex, England. The events that are reports from local residents who experienced the strange phenomenon. For example, a family pet is lost suddenly or people who suddenly died for no reason.

Since 1960 it had been reported in the region saw an unidentified flying object (UFO?), As well as people who suddenly feel a strange and supernatural. Reported mysterious path is the path to the forest. From the research results that the region has a high radiation levels.

This report is surprising, because the area is a limestone region which is usually low radiation.

In the photo, at first still looks tall trees and large. However, due to 'depression' dead trees. Now very difficult to find a tree big tree over there.

Reportedly there are four mysterious deaths near the forest. First in June 1972 in which a police officer, Peter Goldsmith disappeared while hiking in the area. His body was discovered six months later. The second death was from Leon Foster, whose body was found in August 1975, after three months gone.

The third is the death of the Reverend Harry Neil Snelling, a former representative of Clapham. He disappeared in October 1978 and his body was not found until three years later. Clapham cases is not revealed until now.
