Went outside and viewed an unusual star to the Northeast. We do a lot of night skywatching with our telescope. This "star" was rapidly pulsating and changing colors. I thought maybe it was a plane in the distance but didnt seem right. Grabbed our binoculars and the light was bright white and saw initially a disc shape with many colored lights rabidly pulsating and changing. During this time it was moving farther away and never focused in again ona shape but only rapid changing lights. It almost seemed like it was morphing its shape and tumbling/spinning ball of light. With the naked eye seemed very star-like. However, through the binoculars you could see individual lights flashing off and on of colors of white, blue, orange, and red. It continued. To get smaller and after watching it for about 75 minutes I couldnt distinguish individual lights anymore. It was headed North Northeast.
