Hi, my name is Ron Arnold I am a retired Lecturer once employed by the Government Now attending to the finer things in life including relaxation and taking things easy in general.

My story commences from the time I was 7 years old in 1958 at our family property situated in an area known as Tuart Hill. It all started when during the very early hours of a mid summers morning and whilst My Father, Mother and Brother & myself were asleep on our front veranda. I remember being awakened and propping myself up to see what looked like a star that seemed to descend to a landing in our front yard, We had a very long front yard from the house itself to the main road approximately 300 yards And the width of the block size was about 50+ yards. As I watched this Star like craft land it became a disc shaped object. It may be worth while to point out that before this encounter I had no understanding of Alien life or UFO craft no knowledge of anything remotely to do with this subject. I had never heard people talking about the subject nor did I ever have any comics or written material that would have given me any pre conceived thoughts regarding this phenomenon.

As I watched this craft land some 70 to 100 meters away from myself and my family I began to stand up I remember turning and looking down at my Father, Mother Brother who were all asleep and then looking back towards the craft it was at this time I was greeted by two beings about the same size of myself at that time they were warm and friendly and I was finding myself being lead away with them towards their craft,I still don't recall what happened forward of this point only that I found myself back with my family standing looking up at the stars. I remember thinking Gosh I feel so tired and went back to sleep, from that time I've always been fascinated with the stars and always looking for one that unlike the others moved rapidly with zig -zagging flight pattern to match what I had witnessed early that morning of what was to become very important later in life. From the age of (7) the thoughts were confusing to me of this event and so I decided not to discuss this with my family because I did not want to feel foolish as my experience even though very unusual was perhaps a little crazy to say the least.

The thoughts of that morning kept coming back to me haunting me, I became restless tormented by the event and my unwillingness to talk about it. This affected my sleep and consequently my concentration at school as I would be found day dreaming in class this had reached an all time high when my school teacher contacted my Mother and informed her of my day dreaming episodes in class. My Mother having enough of this took me to a local doctor to see if I could maybe given sleeping pills to assist my sleeping, the doctor agreed however, he said I believe that there is an underlying factor that is causing your son to react this way and that this should be investigated.

Around 12 months had passed from this time when I was taken by my Mother to a child psychologist at Princess Margaret Hospital In Perth I remember this doctor asking every which way he could to find out what was causing this problem along with a few tests that he applied as my Mother thought I was not right mentally speaking, after about an hour the doctor Asked for my Mother to re enter his room along with myself being present he informed my Mother that I was perfectly normal as normal could be so after we had returned home I tried to apply myself to my studies and be a better son for my Mother & Father whilst at the same time being on sleeping pills and keeping my Alien experience to myself.

I had all but stopped taking the sleeping pills after a further 12 months and that's when weird things started to unfold during my sleep state. I started having re occurring dreams these were not normal dreams these were like premonitions of coming events as each time I would start to have one of these re occurring dreams it would progressively get more disturbing until I reached the end of what now seemed to be a warning. Even to this day I still feel the pins and needles effect even by simply writing about this for at the age of 13 years I was shown the horrific death of one of my cousins, and how it was going to happen even so much as the chapel to where his remains would be laid out for every one to say goodbye I felt I was in this coming event as a witness I could see everything I new the colour of his casket that I had noted as being covered with a see through cloth to assist in hiding some of his facial injuries, I had even walked down the Isle of the chapel I knew the location of the undertakers everything!.

I was so head strong about this information I wanted to inform my cousin and his Father (my Uncle) of the coming event and I remember saying to my Mother many times I have to tell them and each time I was told NO! You wont say a word as they will think you are mad and you will cause embarrassment for your Father and me being my (Mother) so each time we would visit I respected my Mothers wishes and said nothing I felt so awful knowing what was going to happen and yet I said nothing this was so much of a torment for me that I found myself back on the sleeping pills again to stop this re occurring dream and after about 6 months it all stopped so I stopped taking the pills to assist in my sleep.

Then like a script in a movie at the age of 16, some 3 and a bit years later I received word that my cousin had been killed in a road accident all details had matched what I had repeatedly told my Mother years earlier, I felt sickened that I was not permitted to inform my cousin nor my Uncle of the pending doom and as I approached the doorstep of the undertakers with my mother along side me as (in my dreams) I reminded her and said I told you repeatedly and you refused to let me tell them she replied I know you did, I now carry that guilt with me for the rest of my life.

As for the alien encounters this started again with a large orange ball that my Mother and I both witnessed on the way to my work one morning it was so fascinating I had all my work mates come out of the building to where I worked and they also witnessed it shaking there heads with confusion to what it was. Everything seemed to end at this stage until I was in my mid 30s when the aliens returned they arrived to collect me one hot summers morning at approximately 2 am I know this because I had awoken and noticed the red led digits on my bedside clock.

I was absorbed from my bed up into a craft and placed at a venue that I had never been before that was in a car park, the next thing I noticed was that I was not the only person gathered as I walked through a crowd of about 25-30 people I stood along side a person in a white coat I felt this person was of the medical profession as I looked at him I said where am I?, what am I doing here? he answered, "You are lucky to have been chosen" and then his eyes went back to the direction that everyone else was looking toward I started assessing where I was geographically speaking as I could see a beacon glowing in the distance it suddenly dawned on me that we were all not far away from Perth air port in fact north of Perth airport and later discovering the location was about 45 kms from my home in Two Rocks.

With the others around me we watched a small light become larger as it came toward us as it hovered above us a brilliant flash was encountered and I found myself and everyone else inside the building that we were all outside of a split second earlier. Whilst inside I began mentally noting everything the makings on the floor, the construction in general and things that I could Identify with and needless to say noting the activity unfolding all around me as there were people walking and talking and being greeted by these much shorter beings I was watching this unfold when I too was greeted by two short alien like creatures one of them handed me a gift of remembrance it was a gift that was left under our family Christmas tree when I was (7) years of age my Mother had no idea who left it there as there was no card apart from my name " Ronnie" at the time we were all confused to who had left this for me.

All of a sudden as my arms were opened out to accept this gift from the aliens a video played in my mind I was shown the first meeting that I had locked away all this time how they came down in the front yard and how I turned to see my Father, my Mother and my Brother asleep and how they greeted me, I was overwhelmed as my eyes dropped and looked around I noted there was another alien crouched down behind me absorbing all my thoughts it felt wrong that this creature was capturing everything I was feeling and thinking I felt a sort of violation so much so that I dropped the gift of which was a Cricket Bat have you been prodding yourself with a needle or something sharp my son replied no and that he had no idea how the markings got there.

It was triangular in shape and consisted of many needle imprints with-in this shape this was to be the first encounter for my eldest son. It was only short space of time after my sons abduction to when he was enjoying a family sunday roast that he began choking on something that was lodged in his throat as he made his way to the bathroom coughing, I was very close behind him and noted hearing a pinging sound as this object and passed from him to the sink I grabbed it and to my amazement it was like nothing I had ever seen before. It was at this time that I decided to make some phone calls to see who I could talk too regarding these things that were starting to upset our family.

I had found a person dealing with this phenomenon as he had dedicated his life to investigating Alien abduction cases. He said to me that he could see that this was an issue of quite some concern and that if I was prepared to oblige with his requests that he would most certainly investigate my case. This man is well respected in academic circles and is known as Professor; John Frodulim of Murdock University Perth Western Australia. So it was I attended various places to be evaluated to make sure I was not on medication or mentally unstable in anyway and further to this I had the object or (implant) that was now in my possession photographed using a very powerful Microscope at Curtain University and the results were also surprising whilst there was blood shown on the object there was a metal breakdown conducted that had given a result of a metal not commonly found in the world in fact there was only one location that this metal was known to be and that was in in Switzerland and it was used for computer componentry this became even more interesting as at that time in 1992 we did not own a computer and my son or our family members in general had no access to one.

I was determined to find out more about this object that I turned to the West Australian Meat Industry for answers as the chance that it may have come from a the leg of lamb roast was suggested. The item was carefully examined by four different persons with in the Meat Industry and each had said that they had never seen anything like it before so now we have the original photographs as produced by Curtain University and no one has been able to identify the origin of the object that my son had coughed out. My sons encounters would continue up to 2008. In the meantime after explaining what these beings looked like along with their craft my wife said I have never seen anything like what your describing so I cant begin to understand. She didn't have to wait very long as it was only a few days later when two of the disc shaped craft were flying above our back yard I had everyone come outside to witness both the craft flying around each other they were approximately 300 meters above the ground, this lasted for about 6 minutes and also as we were to later discover witnessed by others in the area of Two Rocks this happened in summer of 1992 and was to continue again 1994 to when a younger son was taken from the arms of my wife who explained that I was in a trance like state as our younger son was taken, at first she could not move but when she was able to gain her strength to move she got up and ventured out on the balcony of our home and noted two disc objects floating above the ground across the road from our house of which is all beach front land.

Since then the aliens had returned to show me my clone of which had completely shocked me and it was my reaction that they were studying for what ever the reason behind it. While they had just shown me my clone they also had shown me the future of pending doom for the coastal area where my house was located they had shown me a gigantic wave that came up from the ocean and went over the top of our house this was a repeating message like the message that kept repeating about my cousin, needless to say after seeing this feeling this many times we sold our house and have since moved from that property and yet we continue to have more encounters concerning another son that was a New born when the last encounter had happened in 1994 with his slightly older brother altogether (3) sons have been targeted in my family and the girls have not had the same experiences even though one of my daughters had also witnessed the discs when they were hovering about 2 meters from the ground even though others tend to think your unbalanced or just plain mad for talking about such things I have come to the conclusion that this is there choice as my case has been fully investigated and no one has been able to inform us of anything different to what our truthful experiences have and are giving us.

Even though our case had been recreated and was viewed across Australian television only part of the story is shown as with these few pages I have felt necessary to type because if people with true experiences can keep coming forward regardless of the ridicule and name calling others seem compelled to do, others in the same position will also be as candid and come forth so as we can develop an understanding rather then fobbing it all off as fairy tales. You will never begin to understand the truth unless you can evaluate the situation and to evaluate you need the facts and the evidence in support of, of which I have both. Does this make me mentally challenged or even insane? or does this place me apart from those who seek wealth my eldest son had been shown the birth of a daughter that was to be a still born quite sometime before it actually happened that continues to haunt him.

It would appear that we are given information of the future for a reason and I believe that reason is to prepare us for what is going to happen. There are many things I had been shown that are yet to take place in the future and now my eldest son has also been subjected to these visions that with out a doubt will take place in the future as both my eldest son and I have already encounted some of these visions that have in fact happened quite sometime later.

After this explosion I just saw white smoke, then a cloud-like sphere. Before we entered the darkness, we flew through the terminator, the twilight-zone between day and night. We flew eastwards, and when we entered the darkness of the Earth shadow, I could not see them any longer. My First UFO Sighting

Date: Spring or summer 1958

Location: Stawell, Victoria, Australia.

A small town on theAdelaide highway 150 miles from Melbourne

Time: 11.30 Am until around 2.00 pm

Event Description : A bright silver "Adamski" type flyingsaucer hovering for two hours

My first sighting took place in Stawell, Victoria Australia,in about 1958. (Boy, how does anyone remember back that far.) I was around eleven years of age and it was probably spring or summer of that year as it was a fine cloudless day. Not usual at all, in the other months of the year. I remember the occurrence vividly. It was 11:30 AM and I was about to leave the house by the front door. This door faces due west and if not for the house across the street it would have been possible to see the Grampians Mountains around 20 Km away.

As I left the house, I noticed a gleaming silver object the siz a dot at an elevation of 15 to 20 degrees dead ahead of me. It was later estimated by all witnesses to be around 10 Km distant which would mean its height would have been around1,500 to 2,000 feet. It was giving off a series of repeated bright lights from underneath, Blue, Red, Green, White, in that order. I couldn't see what the "dot" was, but it was hovering in the one spot without moving. I watched it for a few minutes and then called my parents who came and saw the same thing as I did. After a while we called the neighbors from across the street,who brought over their tripod mounted telescope. It was onlya 4 inch scope but it brought the object into clear and undisputed view. It was a classic early 1950s flying saucer. A flat bottomed disc with a turret type dome on top with windows and the old 3 ball type undercarriage protrusions beneath it.

The flashing lights were coming from a point directly under the middle of the disc. I had seen pictures of the original flying saucers, which by that time, had been resoundingly debunked by officialdom and ridiculed by the press so I was not a stranger to what it was. Nor were my parents and my neighbors. There was one difference I noted from the pictures though.Where the old pictures showed round porthole type windows, this craft had vertically elongated rectangular windows with rounded tops. Just like the narrow church windows you sometimes see.

All of us watched that disc hovering there without movement or change until after 1 PM, almost 2 hours. Having other things to do, we gradually broke up and went away and the next time I looked for it, it was gone.

Stawell was 150 miles from Melbourne and we saw military aircraft once a year, at the Remembrance Day Flypast. (A Canberra Bomber usually, the only one with the range to fly past all the towns in western Victoria.) There was a light plane airstrip nearby but only had a Cessna 172 and 2 cropdusters. No one in the town to my knowledge had seen a helicopter outside of the Sydney area, a thousand miles away. Aircraft in the area were rare but recognizable and there were none capable of hovering at all. This was obviously a constructed aerial machine, way outside the type of aircraft that existed anywhere in the world, let alone in this isolated spot in country Victoria.

I was later to receive a report (from 1977) of another "flyingSaucer" hovering over Lake Fyans which would have been almost directly under the UFO I and my family saw. With multiple witnesses watching this UFO in daylight for such a long period through a telescope, I conclude that there is no doubt it was an alien constructed flying machine. What its reasons for being there and all the other question as to where it came from, etc., remain unknown, but one thing is for sure. It shaped my belief in the phenomenon for the rest of my life

SHORT UFO FACT: [At about 10 a.m., on April 24, 1964, a 27-year-old farmer named Gary Wilcox was out in one of the fields of his 300-acre farm spreading manure at Newark Valley, New York, when he noticed something unusual over by the edge of the woods. Curious, he drove his tractor over for a closer look. UFO was definitely metallic, with an aluminum color. Researchers recently determined that there are potentially tens of billions of planets in the Milky Way galaxy where alien life could exist.

Scientists from University of California, Berkeley, and University of Hawaii, Manoa used data from NASA's Kepler space telescope and the W. M. Keck Observatory to statistically determine that one in five Sun-like stars in our galaxy have Earth-sized planets that could host life. Erik Petigura, a UC Berkeley graduate student who led the study's data analysis, explains in a press release issued by the W. M. Keck Observatory, "What this means is, when you look up at the thousands of stars in the night sky, the nearest sun-like star with an Earth-size planet in its habitable zone is probably only twelve light years away and can be seen with the naked eye. That is amazing."

Andrew Howard, an astronomer with the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawaii, adds, "For NASA, this number - that every fifth star has a planet somewhat like Earth - is really important, because successor missions to Kepler will try to take an actual picture of a planet, and the size of the telescope they have to build depends on how close the nearest Earth-size planets are."

The research team included UC Berkeley professor of astronomy Gfrey Marcy who explained on the program "PBS Newshour":

Of course, the properties of a planet that make it suitable for life is -- the basics have to be water, because our own human bodies are made of water. All life-forms on the Earth depend on water. And so we assume -- perhaps incorrectly -- that life out there among the stars would also depend on liquid water.

But Marcy also cautions that not all these planets are necessarily hospitable to life. He explains, "Some may have thick atmospheres, making it so hot at the surface that DNA-like molecules would not survive. Others may have rocky surfaces that could harbor liquid water suitable for living organisms... We don't know what range of planet types and their environments are suitable for life."

The team's research was published on November 4 in the journal "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences".

Regarding the inspiration to write a concept album about intergalactic forces, UFOs and aliens, WEDNESDAY said: "I'd become really intrigued with forbidden history books, UFOs, religions/astrotheology, and all sorts of conspiracy theories over the past few years. The subject matter so bizarre and weird. I've seen things in the skies as a kid that were not normal airplanes or shooting stars - objects doing manoeuvres that normal fossil fuel crafts couldn't do. I'm not saying that was aliens, but it could've been top secret government crafts being tested. I've also seen some things in recent years that were definitely not any technology that we supposedly have on earth. I read about so many things I'd never heard of before in the wake of this and it really inspired me to write about it, but to tell it via my own weird concept album."

The following account of the sighting of alien beings came to me directly by eyewitness testimony. The lady who related her story swears that the facts of the case are genuine. She appeared to me to be an honest, upstanding individual with nothing to gain by spinning such a fantastic tale that follows. Although it cannot be proven at this point, this is more than likely a case of Alien Abduction. The case began on November 10, 2005, at about 3:00 AM. Our eye witness Maria and her daughter, heard an unusual humming sound, like that of a hurricane. Maria and her family lived in Aguada, Puerto Rico at the time of the incident. This strange sound hurt their ears, and they looked out of their window to find the source.Maria and daughter both clearly saw a disc-shaped UFO moving toward the west, and the rear of their house. Behind their house was a large forest, only marred by a large antenna. Beyond the forest lay the Atlantic Ocean. They were able to see a row of windows around the disc. It also had a green hue around it. The windows were of a dark green color. For a time, the mother and daughter would hear the same sound a couple of times a week. It was their custom to stay up late together watching Spanish soap operas. On April 28, 2006, the sound was again present near their home. Their dog, Dora, was incessantly barking in the backyard. Maria flipped on the back lights, and looked through her dining room window.She saw her dog laying on her back, with all fours straight up. She appeared to be either dead or unconscious. The family kept the dog chained to a pole at the rear of the backyard. She called to her dog, "Dora, Dora, what's wrong Dora?" As she lifted her eyes to the back fence, she was startled to see two creatures, which she took to be alien beings. They were standing just behind the back fence, and looking straight at her. One of the beings was only a few steps from the dog, with the second being close by. She describes the beings as about three and a half feet tall, with large oval heads, and big, slanted eyes. Their skin was a pale gray color, with only slits for mouths, and two small holes for nostrils.They also appeared to be naked, with very slim arms. Because of a cinder block wall a foot and a half tall at the bottom of the fence, she could not see the beings' legs. The aliens were staring at her. She stared back. She could sense being talked to, not by speech, but mentally. She felt they heard her when she thought to herself, "I'm going to wake up my husband, Nelson." She then left the window, and walked toward her husband's bedroom, but something strange happened on the way. She was compelled to go, not to her husband's room, but her daughter's. After waking her daughter, they both returned to the window. The aliens were still there. The staring match continued. The seventeen-year-old daughter was scared, and went back to bed. Her mother followed her to her room, and spent about 10 minutes with her. She then returned to the window once again. The beings were still there. Then, one of them told her mentally to open the back door. In her mind she refused to obey the beings order. He was more emphatic with her now, as he said, "You're going to open the door." She then began to move toward the back door, feeling very drowsy.This was the last thing Maria recalled. The next thing she knew, she was waking up the next morning in her own bed. She immediately went to her daughter, and asked her if she remembered the beings the night before. Her daughter corroborated her mother's account of what had happened. Maria than told their story to her husband, who slept in a separate room which faced the back yard. He did recall the dog barking the night before, but thought nothing of it. The witness advised me again that beyond the family's back yard fence was the large rainforest, which leads to the ocean. She says that this area is pitch black at night. Any activity behind the fence could hardly be seen from the back door of the house. If a craft had landed there, it could easily stay hidden from view. Her husband, after hearing the strange story, went into the back yard to check things out. The first thing he noticed was that the back door was open. He was also struck by the odd behavior of the dog. He seemed listless, and would not eat or drink anything. She would only lay around as if she was sick. This continued for several days, before the pet eventually returned to normal. Although this would mark the end of the alien sightings, it would not be the end of strange happenings at their home. On Monday, May 1, 2006, at about 1:00 AM, Maria was sitting in her living room, talking on the telephone. She was surprised to see a bright, glowing light moving through the woods in their back yard. This time, she immediately told her husband. They closed all the windows in the house to block out the light. The mother of the house was almost hysterical, and sobbing. She feared a return visit of the alien beings. Her husband was able to calm her down. Then, about an hour later, the same hurricane-like sound was heard. It sounded as if it was coming from over the house. There was a loud bang as if something had landed on their roof! The family discussed calling the police, but decided against it for fear of being laughed at. The only consolation to our witness was the fact that her daughter had also seen the beings in their back yard. Without her backing her story, she felt like she was losing her mind. She still cannot be certain that she was abducted, although she did have a dotted, circular mark on her left hand. She has not a clue as to how it got there. After a time, the mark went away, and things began to return to normal. As normal as they can be. The family had moved to their home in Puerto Rico from New York City, where the husband was an Assistant Deputy Warden for the Department of Corrections for twenty years. He worked at Riker's Island jail complex. He was known as a "no nonsense" type of man. He had retired because of a heart attack, and felt that leaving the rat race of a large city would afford them some peace and quiet. How little did they know what lay in store for them in Puerto Rico. Because of the harrowing experience they encountered in Puerto Rico, they are selling their house, and moving back to the mainland. They have told their story to the mayor of Aguada, and also to Channel 5 television network, but no one seems to believe their fantastic account.

Anyone who is interested in UFOs do not have to travel far to get the chance to be part of something exciting. In Sweden there is a UFO monument, situated at a place to look for strange lights and the world's largest UFO archive.

To make a list of places where the "UFO crowd" can get their fill is not easy. At least not with any guarantee that you also really get to see something that can not be explained. But there is nevertheless a lot that can attract and tickle the curious.

1. As a UFO tourist destination, the city of "ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO" is commonly considered a primary UFO site, as it is the place where an unidentified flying object was (officially) reported to have crashed in the desert outside the city in 1947. The crash has become legend and has given rise to a very large number of books on that historic event. There is also UFO museum dedicated by the city itself to preserving UFO history.

There, anyone interested in looking at models of aliens and get the full story narrated separately. If you want to see the crash site, it's worse because there are several alternative ones. And once you get there it is best to engage the imagination because what there is to see is desert and desert again.

2. "HESSDALEN, NORWAY" is fortunately known for its natural beauty as it can be difficult to fit in this visit with a sighting of a UFO. But the valley, which lies between "TRONDHEIM "and "RoROS, NORWAY", almost at the level as "OSTERSUND", has a long history of strange sightings of luminous phenomena.

In the early 1980s, UFO-SWEDEN and UFO NORWAY, TWO (2) Nordic UFO research organizations, undertook large survey projects in the valley of Hessdale, and a large collection of photos and series of images of strange and anomalous light phenomena were taken. Today, many people travel there to try to get a glimpse of the unknown, but no guarantee is included with the visit.

3. "THE MARTEBO LIGHTS" on "GOTLAND" is a budget trip for those who do not want to travel too far.

And "LYSET", as it is known locally, still attracts many to take a car to the gravel road at "KNUTSTORP" about 30 kilometers north of "VISBY".

The UFO phenomena are reported as brilliant orbs or other types of light phenomena that migrate along the way. The difficulties for those who want to give to scouting is to separate the car lights as regularly seen on the road a good distance away from anything that would be a genuine phenomenon. The story that a light would fly along the route can be traced back to the early 1900s.

4. A safe tourist destination is a Swedish forest that lies on the outskirts of "ANGELHOLM. There, in a clearing not far from SK"aLDERVIKEN beach, stands a monument, fashioned in concrete.

The monument depicts a "flying saucer" with a large antenna and sturdy landing gear and was built by G"oSTA CARLSSON, in the early 1970s.

GOSTA CARLSSON, who eventually got the name "THE POLLEN KING," is famous for having built the city's first ice skating rink and taking R"ogle from ice hockey Division 3 to the top division in the 1960s. But it was an event May 18, 1946 that resulted in the saucer monument. It was at that time that Gosta Carlsson says that he actually met creatures from another world in a landed UFO craft in the glade at Angelholm. Carsslon also stated that the creatures had given him the recipes for several different pollen preparations, which led him to start a business.

5. MARFALJUSEN ("Marfa Lights") are similar in some ways to the "Martebo Lights"," both in terms of appearances and in terms of the cases that remain to be explained. The lights are visible for at least fifty years near ROUTE 67 south of the town of MARFA, TEXAS. The studies that have been done have shown that it is likely case of car lights at great distances which does not prevent many from going there and watching for lights.

6. "MIN MIN LIGHTS" is Australia's answer to "MARFALJUSEN" (OR "THE MARFA LIGHTS" IN TEXAS, USA). Each year this site attracts many curious seekers to a desolate region of eastern part of the country. The first time they met was in 1918 but even these light has slowly been explained by curious researchers who present car lights bouncing on warm layer of air. Most reports are from UFO sightings along the route 62 between Boulia and Winton.

7. AREA 51 is no longer as exciting or mysterious as it once was (when the US military had not yet extended the safety zone, and denied its existence). Then, you could send prying scout towards this super secret area whose very existence was long denied by the US authorities.

AREA 51 is said to hide captured aliens and their craft but that a visitor could hope to see today is big warning signs that proclaim that the guards have the right to open fire as you pass them. The area is part of the EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE and the NEVADA TEST AND TRAINING RANGE and is located in the southern part of the state of Nevada.

9. In Suffolk, Eastern England, lies the RENDLESHAM FOREST, which has also given its name to the most famous "UFOH"aNDELSEN (UFO case) in the UK. Today there is a hiking trail that takes visitors to the places where it all took place.

A mystery of the moon that imperiled astronauts and spacecraft on lunar missions has been solved by a Purdue University-led team of scientists as part of NASA's GRAIL mission. "GRAIL has now mapped where they lay, and we have a much better understanding of how they developed. The team found that this pattern arises as a natural consequence of crater excavation, collapse and cooling following an impact.The team determined that the increase in density and gravitational pull at the bulls-eye was caused by lunar material melted from the heat of the asteroid impact. The melting causes the material to become more concentrated, stronger and denser, and pulls in additional material from the surrounding areas, Melosh said.The large asteroid impacts also caused big holes into which the surrounding lunar material collapsed. As the cool, strong lunar crust slid into the holes it bent downward, forming a rigid, curved edge that held down the material beneath it and prevented it from fully rebounding to its original surface height. This causes a ring with less gravitational pull because the mass is held farther below the surface, the top of which is what most influences the gravitational signature, he said.The outer ring of increased gravitational pull comes from the added mass of the material ejected by the initial impact that then piles on top of the lunar surface.The team combined expertise in specialized computer analysis methods called hydrocodes and finite element codes to create computer simulations that could show the physical changes occurring from microseconds to millions of years. The team analyzed the Freundlich-Sharanov and Humorum mascon basins.Melosh is a pioneer in adapting computer hydrocodes -- computer programs originally created to analyze the flow of liquids -- to simulate how complex materials move when high-speed collisions occur, like that of a planetary collision. Hydrocodes can be used to study such phenomena on a time scale of microseconds to hours, but are not practical from time scales much longer than that, he said.Freed is a leader in adapting finite element codes, like those used to study car crashes, to simulate the changes in density of complex materials upon cooling and the evolution of Earth and other planets on the time scale of hours to millions of years.Using the GRAIL data set, which offers an unprecedented, detailed map of the distribution of masses in the moon, the team was able to put together a picture of how the moon's crust and mantle behaved and the development of the concentrations of mass in the aftermath of large asteroid impacts."Author: Elizabeth Gardner Source: Purdue University [May 30, 2013]"
