Referring to the Nazi UFO program as "well advanced," a new report in German magazine PM indicates that witnesses captured after the war ended said that they saw the Nazi flying saucer in the air several times in 1945. In addition, others reported seeing a UFO emblazoned with the German military's Iron Cross symbol flying low over England's Thames River in 1944, the "Telegraph" reports.
An engineer who served as a consultant on the project noted that a total of 15 UFO prototypes were built, which used rotating wing-vanes arranged in a circular format to create horizontal lift-off, the "Telegraph" notes.
