An Alabama witness at Pell City reported watching a hovering object with four lights that appeared to be a triangle shape, according to testimony in Case 63597 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"I saw a triangular-shaped object with four lights off to my left." the witness stated. "I continued driving about 65 or 70 mph while I observed the craft. It seemed to be hovering or moving so slowly that I couldn't tell."

The object first caught the witnesses' attention when it projected a light like a searchlight.

"It was foggy, so the searchlight really stood out. At first I thought it was a helicopter shining a searchlight, but the triangular shape of the lights didn't seem to be a helicopter. The searchlight turned off about 10 seconds after I noticed it."

As the witness approached the object, he was unable to make out the shape of the craft.

"It definitely resembled a triangle instead of a helicopter, like I initially thought it was. The lights were white at first, and faded to red, then to a light green, then back to white. All of the lights changed color at once, and they did not blink."

The object seemed to be hovering as the witness moved away from it.

"It seemed to hover in place for around a minute before I passed it and it was out of sight. I passed exit 156 on I-20 East a minute or two after I saw the object."

Pell City is a city in St. Clair County, Alabama, population 9,565.

Alabama is currently a UFO Alert Level 5 - with 1.23 sightings per million population based on MUFON January 2015 statistics. Alabama received a total of six UFO reports in January.

I try to be tolerant of people. I really do. After all, we each must find our own ways in these lives, adjusting our ideas and beliefs until we are comfortable with them - and then adjusting them some more. Suffice it to say sometimes it is just more difficult than other times for me to accept the paths people choose when those paths oppress the choices of others.

Scenes such as the Ozark UFO Conference represent many different demographics, and the demographics range from people who are sincere and well meaning to those much, much less so. People are led astray and ultimately hurt who attempt nothing more negligent than to learn about themselves and their environments while cultivating relationships with a supreme being of their understandings. I have come to find such circumstances quite disappointing.

Many sincere and apparently honest people attended the 2012 Ozark UFO Conference. They were polite, cordial and sociable.

I am not personally affiliated with the event organizers or staff. My interactions with them were very positive. I found event staff to be very friendly and I believe those I talked to genuinely wanted to be helpful.

It is for such reasons it concerns me to write what could easily be interpreted as a negative review. It is not that I particularly blame any given event and its organizers for the overall challenges within ufology, but that does not change the fact there are indeed severe challenges.

I think my observations indicate a lot of people are a little interested in ufology and the abduction phenomenon. The vast majority of them, however, do not dig deep enough to develop accurate understandings of the negative dynamics taking place. This manifests as those of us who call attention to such negative dynamics to be labeled as 'trouble makers, debunkers, conspiracy theorists' and the like.

May we seek the truth and have the courage to face it when we find it.

These lights appeared over a field where a rancher keeps his cattle. The lights appear to slowly move above the tree line then move below the trees. The lights appeared in the middle of the night when allot of the ground was covered in a thick layer of fog. I originally posted this video for Angela a few days after she recorded it. I removed this video when one subscriber said this was farm equipment. After taking a day time picture of the tree line and matching a few frames of video to the day time picture. It looks like these lights were to high in the sky to be farm equipment. I have reposted the video. I don't claim this video to be anything except strange lights at night, in fog, over a field where a rancher lets his cattle graze. Due to the fog, not all of the video is clear or in focus. The video segments shown here are some of the best footage recorded. Angela was outside while recording this video. When the lights started to move quickly behind the trees and moved in her direction, she ran into her home. When she tried to continue recording video through her kitchen window, the lights were gone. The video and sound has not been altered and is played back as it was recorded. The video was taken around mid-night, on May 15th 2012 in Texas. Farm equipment? Fire fly's? Swamp gas? Make your own decision. I have made mine.

1. THEY WON'T COME IN PEACE

The renowned physicist Stephen Hawking once famously warned that humanity's efforts to radio communicate with extraterrestrials could be endangering us. If the aliens that detect our signals are technologically capable of coming here - proof that they are far more advanced than we - "I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans," Hawking said.

Just as they would not be recognized by the local pathogens as potential hosts, aliens would also not recognize Earth's organic matter as a potential food source. They couldn't digest us. And they probably wouldn't need to, anyway. As Jacob Haqq-Misra, an astronomer at Pennsylvania State University, pointed out, "A society capable of interstellar travel should have solved their development issues such that they do not need humans for food."

5. THEY WON'T MATE WITH US

Human DNA can't combine with XYZ, or whatever it is that encodes alien life. "The idea that they've come for breeding purposes is more akin to wishful thinking by members of the audience who don't have good social lives," Shostak told IEEE Spectrum. "Think about how well we breed with other species on Earth, and "they" have DNA. It would be like trying to breed with an oak tree."

"My Opinions and Comments on the Above Article I do not agree with a great deal of the article concerning the five misconceptions about aliens I have posted above.

1.. They do not come in peace: I see the author of this article constructs their views via human thinking and human known science concerning the topics he is commenting on. I know that human thinking is sorted out as peace or war, help or hurt black or white, however I think alien thinking and methods, agenda's and actions are completely different than the way we relate to things. I know aliens already visit this planet. I do not know if they are cosmic visitors, dimensional or something we are yet to understand on our primitive human level. I do know they exist. I would not consider making determinations about their reasons until we are able to figure out and understand what they are and where they come from. The science of their life form and the actions they take is something far beyond our understanding. To make the statement they come in peace or to kill or control is unreasonable at our level of understanding these unknowns. It is obvious that they have been coming here and have yet to overtake, destroy or help us in any way. That makes it clear we do not have enough information about them to make any statement concerning their agenda's. Giving them human qualities in my mind is a waste of time. They are not human.

2. They did not put us here: I think we can all agree that no human can say without question they know how we definitely started on this planet. There are many theories, many avenues of thought on this subject but no human has a absolute answer to this question. I do not think we are at a level to suggest why a life form we cannot and do not understand would do anything is above our range of understanding so making a statement that they did not place us here is fruitless until we have the absolute answer to this question and others like it.

3. They are immune to earth's bacteria: This should be a simple subject to digest by logic. If another life form is far more sophisticated, advanced and intelligent than we are that they are able to visit us -I am sure they are fully able and equipped to deal with our bacteria and atmosphere. I also think they wear skin like protective garments that handle all those issues for them. I do not think any human has ever seen a visiting being in their natural form. We have seen many protective suits.

4. They will not eat us. This is the only thought I fully agree with. They will have no need to eat us. I do however think they are interested in our biology.

5. They will not mate with us. : Once again I find the comments on this issue extremely limited to those who cannot see outside the human box. Since we have no idea what the interest in humans really is about by those who visit and inspect some of us it is impossible for us to make any statements on what they are doing with us. I do think they need something human that they seem to be taking or experimenting with or using. I also think making the statement that it is impossible to cross breed species is almost true of our low level human science capabilities. To say impossible for those far beyond our technology and intelligence can only come from those who never heard of Plum Island before. We try to cross breed and have been doing so for years. I am sure a civilization millions of years more advanced than ours can do whatever they please at this point including mixing species. I think it is time we start to stop keeping all our thinking locked in small human boxes of our limited knowledge and start to consider the possibilities of those who are far advanced. Let us start to think of it as we are the ant hill and they are us. It is about the same for those far more advanced in all ways. We are silly little dumb humans who need to expand our thinking past our human limitations if we are ever going to be more than silly little humans !
